Rosemary + Horsetail Hair Serum

A silky serum featuring garden grown botanicals infused into a nourishing blend of cold-pressed oils of argan, jojoba, and castor. A richly medicinal herb, rosemary is known for stimulating circulation and helpful for supporting blood flow to the scalp and hair follicles...helping to stimulate hair growth. Rosemary is also rich in antioxidants and helpful for minimizing dandruff and discouraging lice. The comforting fragrance of rosemary essential oil is uplifting, centering, and can be supportive for mental clarity and helping reduce headaches.

Earning the title of "living fossil" horsetail is an ancient plant that is famous for drawing minerals out of the soil. Due to this, when wildcrafting it is really important to harvest from a clean area. We are lucky to have an abundance of horsetail growing around on the land we tend. Rich in silica, horsetail is wonderful for helping repair skin, hair, and dry, brittle nails. We love incorporating horsetail into this serum to due to its anti-inflammatory properties and the ability to support strong, healthy hair. Horsetail has a tradition of being utilized to relieve dandruff, lessen oily secretions of the scalp, reduce hair loss and promote healthy hair growth. (Cumo, 2013)

This hair serum boasts an almost emerald green color...its gorgeous! This is due to the quality of herbs we grow/source and our in-house extraction process. This results in a concentrated, richly pigmented herbal extraction. This silky hair serum is a beloved favorite in the shop!

There are several ways to this hair serum.

To support hair growth: Massage on to scalp before bed, as a regular practice, to stimulate strengthen, hydrate, and soften your locks. Let sit overnight and shampoo the next day. Depending on hair type, conditioner is not needed.

-To tame frizz and hydrate dry ends: After showering, massage a few pumps into the ends of hair. Brush and detangle and let dry. My favorite thing is to braid my hair afterward and let air dry. For my hair type,( thick and a lot of volume) this is a game changer for keeping my hair from getting frizzy and helps my hair be much more manageable through the week.

-For dry hair: Add 1-2 pumps to ends as needed to add extra hydration. The jojoba and argan oils make this oil really absorbable and light...not greasy.

-This serum also makes an awesome beard oil, helping to soften and hydrate facial hair. Rosemary is also antiseptic and helps keep hair and skin cleansed.
