Rose & Crown Apothecary is born from our family’s living legacy of professional western and eastern herbalists. Today, that love and expertise is nurtured in our herbal gardens and infused into our handmade apothecary offerings.

Nestled along the Siuslaw National Forest, we grow & tend medicinal plants in harmony with nature's fresh air, clean water, and rich soil on the central Oregon coast. For over two decades, my family has loved and tended this land. This deep reverence for the landscape is reflected in the herbal offerings we create.  Ingredients not grown in the garden, or foraged from abundant wild stands, are sourced from local organic farms around the Pacific Northwest.

I am lucky to have grown up in a family of acupuncturists and naturopathic physicians. Having the privilege of growing up and experiencing the power of natural medicine from an early age has had a deep ripple effect in my life and herbal practice. My academic background includes earning a Bachelors of Science from Oregon State University in Sustainable Horticultural Practices and Soil Science. Eventually I specialized in therapeutic horticulture and was invited to intern at a collective of hospitals in the Portland metro area. For over a decade, I have studied clinical herbalism from several naturopathic physicians, acupuncturists, and acclaimed herbalists from around the country. Additionally, I am a licensed massage therapist in Oregon and love understanding anatomy & physiology of the body and how herbs can support our body's natural capacity to heal and be healthy.

All this said, truly the plants are the best teachers. Much of my knowledge is thanks to growing, tending, stewarding, and listening to them. They have offered me profound healing and it is an honor to share their medicine with you.
