Translating to "holy wood" in Spanish, palo santo is native to the dry tropical forests of several Central and South American countries. Using this sacred wood intentionally is important, as is sourcing it sustainably from naturally felled trees. The smoke from palo santo is traditionally used for energetic cleansing and blessing rituals. Rich in resin, the grounding, slightly sweet aroma supports feelings of relaxation and tranquility.
